At Agentiv, we believe in following a design process that puts the needs of the user at the centre of our work. Our process broadly follows the principles of design thinking and typically involves five phases:
We start by focusing on understanding the “problem” or requirements in more detail. During this stage, we conduct business need analysis, stakeholder, and user interviews, and use corroborating market data.
We take the results from the previous phase and create user personas, journey maps, and affinity diagrams to organize the requirements better.
We then move into ideation, where we run co-creation workshops where we brainstorm ideas, map user flows, and create the basic wireframes.
We take the results of the ideation and create low-fidelity prototypes, which we iterate via controlled testing. Here we estimate the cost of developing the full design and development and run it against our value delivery framework to ensure that there is value in what we are developing. We also define the metrics we will use to measure the success of the design and value-added.
We convert the base design into high-fidelity design that we will use in the final product or feature. Here we focus on UX, performance, data integrity and data flow, security among other things. We re-evaluate the design based on success metrics before proceeding to development.
